He is owner of Herman Development Company, a real estate development and construction company formed for the purpose of developing and building residential, industrial, commercial and retail projects. He also owns Century 21 Advance Realty which currently is in operation with 50 real estate agents. John also is a founder, owner and past president of Tiger Development. This company is primarily concerned with industrial and commercial development in the I-81 corridor.

A graduate of Duquesne Law School, John's legal background has aptly supported his extensive real estate career which spans almost 30 years. He has developed in excess of $100 million dollars worth of Commercial and Industrial Real Estate and over 1500 residential lots.
